Golden Star Balm is a traditional Vietnamese topical balm manufactured by OPC Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Its aromatic formula combines camphor, menthol and several essential oils to create a warming and refreshing sensation when applied to the skin.

The balm is intended for external use and may help provide temporary relief from minor headaches, nasal discomfort associated with colds, motion sickness, muscle aches and discomfort caused by mosquito or other insect bites.

Ingredients

Each 10g tin contains:

• Camphor: 849.20mg
• Peppermint essential oil: 525.20mg
• Menthol: 425.20mg
• Cajeput essential oil: 210.80mg
• Holy basil essential oil: 130.80mg
• Cinnamon essential oil: 53.20mg
• Other ingredients sufficient for one 10g tin

Directions for Use

For external use only.

• Headache, dizziness, cold symptoms or motion sickness: Apply a small amount to the temples, back of the neck or around the outside of the nose.
• Minor muscular aches: Apply to the affected area and massage gently.
• Insect bites: Apply a small amount directly to the affected skin.

Use only as needed. Follow the instructions supplied with the product or the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

Possible Side Effects

Some users may experience skin irritation, hypersensitivity or contact dermatitis. Stop using the product and seek medical advice if irritation, swelling, rash or another unusual reaction occurs.

Warnings and Precautions

• Pregnant women should avoid applying the balm directly around the nose and should not use it for steam inhalation.
• Breastfeeding women should not apply the balm to the breast immediately before feeding.

Accidental Ingestion

Swallowing the balm may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea or other serious symptoms. Seek immediate medical assistance if the product is swallowed, particularly by a child.

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight and keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
