Ancient Shan Tuyet Green Tea from Ha Giang, Vietnam
Ancient Shan Tuyet Green Tea 1 Bud 1 Leaf is a premium Vietnamese loose-leaf green tea made from tender buds and young leaves harvested from ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees growing in the high mountains of Ha Giang.
The fresh tea buds are naturally covered with fine silvery-white hairs resembling snow, which gives Shan Tuyet tea its distinctive name. After harvesting, the leaves are traditionally processed to preserve their natural mountain aroma, smooth body and lasting sweetness.
What Does “1 Bud 1 Leaf” Mean?
“One bud, one leaf” refers to the careful plucking standard used for this tea. Each selected shoot includes one tender unopened bud together with one young adjoining leaf.
This harvesting method provides a balance between the concentrated aroma of the tea bud and the fuller flavour of the young leaf, producing a refined but approachable tea suitable for regular enjoyment.
